Sea trial weekend
Join us in Stuart, Florida for an exclusive hands-on experience with our fleet.
This sea trial weekend brings together serious anglers and boating enthusiasts for a rare chance to feel what Islamorada Boatworks builds. We've designed these boats for the water, not the showroom. You'll experience the difference in every turn, every cast, every moment on the water.
We're hosting this event in Stuart, Florida because it's home. This is where our craftsmen work, where we test every hull, where we know the conditions. You'll see the boats in their element, running the same waters where they're built to perform.
The weekend runs Saturday through Sunday. Saturday morning begins with a full briefing on our fleet, from the nimble 16-footer to the capable 27-footer. Our captains will walk you through the engineering, the materials, the thinking behind every decision. Then you'll get behind the wheel. No scripts, no sales pitch. Just you, the boat, and the water.
Sunday is for deeper exploration. We offer extended runs for those who want to push further, test the boats in different conditions, see how they handle. Bring your own tackle if you want to fish. Some of our best conversations happen when someone's got a line in the water.
Our lead captain, Marcus Webb, has been running these waters for twenty years. He knows every shoal, every current, every reason these boats are built the way they are. He'll be on the water with you, answering questions, sharing what he's learned from thousands of hours behind the wheel.
We keep these events small. Twelve boats maximum. That means real attention, real time on the water, real answers to your questions. This isn't a cattle call. It's a weekend with people who understand boats.
What to expect: Early mornings. Salt spray. The sound of a well-tuned engine. Honest conversations about what matters in a boat. By Sunday afternoon, you'll know whether an Islamorada is right for you. Most people do.
Bring sunscreen, polarized glasses, and an open mind. The water will do the rest.
